This morning the weather was good, and without any planning we set out on a little ride. Hein and his laaitie Johan on their 950, me and Behan on our bike. There was Junior MX at Highstakes, so we thought a check on friends Brad and Dirco's performance would be a good thing to do.
We set off and took a leisurely ride to the track. Quite busy out there and the kids are entertaining to watch! And the performance of those little bikes is amazing.... :shock:
The track looked great, nicely prepared.
The PW 50 class is just as serious as the rest!
This is MX racing - the holeshot is the big thing!
Lots of spectators around, simple to get a good spot with the bikes.

My coach knows it all.....
We were getting hungry, and the Cato Ridge Airfield was not far away. A ride there for some refreshments and watching the planes, parachute jumps and microlights made for some more good entertainment.
The road back home included some dirt and scenery. The waterfalls are still flowing strong after the recent rains.
Went past the old Hamarsdale MX track, and did a quick pillion round just for good spirit. This track used to be a "big" venue, but nowdays only used for practicing.
All the boys enjoyed their time out and arrived home very happy with life!
