Had to attend the KLR bash at Naboomspruit, so I hit the road out of Rustenburg at 8:00. Went on the Assen road where a leopard attacked someone just the day before 
Went through to Rooiberg pad and had a quick brekkie at Thaba. Got to the rankins pass road with some lekker sand stretches and some watercrossings.
