I am sure this has been discussed at length but I looking at acquiring a DS bike.
If there are threads that are similar please direct - will be appreciated.
Is there really a big difference between the two.
KLR pushes 35.3kw @6500rpm (650cc)
KLE pushes 33kw @ 8300rpm (500cc)
KLR Tank size is 23L
KLE tank size 15L
What is the average range that can be achieved on both bikes loaded?
Which one would be best suited for someone starting off?
Would it be possible to do a long trip 1000km plus on a KLE without any major problems, and I am not talking about cruizing at 160km/h.
Is the KLE as well suited offroad as the KLR?
Any info appreciated.
