Hi there !
Here's a question for the more technical guys if you don't mind.
Through a friend of a friend I came to know of a Funduro 650 (1996 model) that is for sale (it is out of use) for R22 000. It has 32000 k's on the clock, BUT it's got one issue:
It slips out of 2nd.
Now on the Fj that I had I know that it is a relatively easy to fix the offending part (undercutting the engagement dog). Getting to it is a little more labour intensive tho'.
How involved is it on the Funduro?
Is it a known issue on these bikes ?
Even if it is a unfair question, what might be the ball park damage be to fix this ?
A friend of mine have been drooling over getting a Funduro for a long time, but we don't want to buy cheep if it's gonna be ending up costing too much to fix.
Thanks everyone !
Wihan
