Anyone know of someone who has taken his 690 seat to an upholster etc to have it made "softer"?
TS 50- Gave away
RM 125- Not sure where it is.
IT 200- Sold.
XT 550- Sold.

No, but there are a few threads about redoing seats to change height or foam density.

or do a search on the forum. turns out you can redo a seat fairly easily. just need to change the foam on the seat.

I went the Guts Racing route. It's a real bitch to fit, but I guess the result is worth it. You need a long nose pneumatic stapler and heavy duty staples. It arrived within a week of ordering it.

Speak to Just(wannabeCrtuches/Riding)Biking. He did it to a 690 last year(?) Took it to the Harley okes to have the seat lowered.
Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

And there I thought it was only BMW that would sell you a bike for R100k and a comfortable seat is an optional extra!   :mwink:

i got  a upholster in Dbn that is going to cut mine lower and put softer foam and make it wider, as per spec from Goss seat, he is also doing the stiching orange , he does all the seats for CCGallery KTM, will let you know how it goes
