T-Dawg, well done man!! I must add, you looked completely stuffed afterwards, but the smile on your face told a different story :)

Hi Buff, dit kon dalk ek gewees het wat jou so laat skrik het, want ek het daar verby ouens gespring. (As dit by die laaste koringland was voor die einde...).  Lionell ry met 'n KTM 300, nie 450 nie. Sorrie as dit ekke was, sal NOOIT weer nie!!! :mwink:

Quick Technical question for the Wellington speed freaks:

I was able to handle most of the terrain out there on Saturday but 2 things really rattled my cage.

The biggest was those damn ruts that get formed in a perfectly hardpacked gravel road by the 450's ripping up the road. When I hit those things in top gear my KDX starts to do some really weird sh!te under me and it feels like I'm going to get a tankslapper any minute. The movement rattles me and I found myself backing off on sections where I should have had it pinned. And if you go too slowly on them, it feels like your front wheel stays in the rut and your bike wants to go in one direction while your body wants to go in another  :D.
What's the best way to ride those things?

The other was those deep ruts that get formed in the soft sand/dust down at the riverbed in those tight little turns. As soon as my front wheel goes into that rut then I have zero control of the bike. On both my laps I moered of on that one sharp little left turn in the riverbed that went up that very lose sandy/dusty embankment.

Help plz  :3some:

Tsek, ek dink dit het te doen met die pit crews. Fidel kon die race wen as hulle hom genoeg juice gegee het

BTW Snafu, het jy n password om die detail te kan sien?

Buff, I don't know if I qualify to answer, but I'll try.
On the straight with ruts: hang on the back of your bike and open the throttle and keep the front wheel light.
And for the the ruts in the turns: go fast and ride them like a burm (use the rut to turn sharp)

Buff, just one thing to remember...
a 14 year old only wears a thin sheath of latex for protection, while you and I need a neck brace, helmet, body armour, knee guards, elbow guards, kidney belt, gloves, fresh underwear, gnarly boots and a set of goggles :) LOL
