It was a "grand day out". The weather started out cool but soon warmed up quite dramatically.
First stop was Justin's folly.

That bridge he's crossing was seriously broken and dangerous. Glad he made it.
Then when we got to Riebeek-Wes we encountered the Swartland's impeccable taste:

Finally we ended up in Bridgetown. A very strange place. There's no town and no bridge. Nice campsite on the river with all facilities just crying out for a WD invasion!
There's an old building busy falling down. I think it's a 19th century blacksmith's shop, but this is not my field.
