The Super Tenere 750 thread

I am a fortunate owner of the lord of adventures as it is known in other continents. They are very popular in Europe and UK. They were not brought in by Yamaha so that would then fall under grey imports. I still have to take it on the long and dirty road and wish somebody can take me along as I am new here! I only have this beast for two weeks now. What a dream to ride on.

I still need to do some minor cosmetic repairs but don't want to do to much as character comes with age and that cannot be bought!
I am interested to know how many owners are here in SA. Would be good if we could share some info locally and exchange parts and ideas on the forum.
I am in need of left side cover and tail light......... for now.
Went today to buy my Gps holder, power socket from Toolbox. Thanks for making met poorer toolbox  :thumleft:. Next time I will only take R100 with me!
I also went to buy orange perspex. Going to make me some light covers soon.
Already got the new tyres and will fit them in the next week. 

How do they compare with the African twins in terms of driving and handling?
