I read some of those posts on Cafe Husky a while ago and never really thought he was slagging the previous owner, but then I tend to scan for stuff that interests me rather than read everything verbatim.
Obviously any new owner is going to be alarmed to find that sort of thing on a lowish mileage bike - which should be taken into account when reading his posts IMO.
Perhaps it would have been better to sort it out direct between the two of you rather than posting this on a public forum?
And in any event it seemed that there was no serious damage done to the bike and it was reasonably easily rectified in the end so apart from the posts that annoyed you, there isnt that much harm done perhaps?
Its still a great bike though hey

, even survives all sorts of stuff floating around inside it, without too many issues!
