So we had all been awake for hours when we discovered Jacko was still sleeping and his bike needed to go onto the trailer for HP2's .

1. Eugene with Jacko's beauty  :mwink:

2. Heimer with Jacko who's trying to wake up

3. Jacko on his throne  :mwink:.

4. Look Ma,  my feet don't touch the ground  :D  >:D

5. The 2 HP2' s on the trailer  :drif: :drif:
Its impossible, said pride. Its risky, said experience.

Its pointless, said reason. Give it a try, whispered the heart.

Just spoke to Charlie's wife in the hospital in Worcester. He is in ICU. Broken femur, but his bone marrow went into his bloodstream and now forming a blockkage in the lungs. They are trying to stabilize his breathing. Will keep you updates, but let us be positive.

This was what I was afraid of ,hope he does well, please keep me informed as to his recovery.Glad that shot I gave him took away some of his discomfort

ah, some amazing shots....Jacko manages to make even a bloody safaripakkie elegant....everyone looks extremely sober...amazed that you got so many out of the tent and onto a hill to wait for the sunset...that would never happen at the FS bash....so few woman? and can we have some shots of the food?
lovely terrain to ride ...thank you for sharing this.

On the way to meet JC, Sparky & Robin Brown (via Durbanville Hills)

Waiting at the Engen garage

Sheesh, this road really chews your tyres!

Before the masses arrived

Relaxing under the main tent on the friday afternoon

It almost looks like you're on the moon

Just before we left for the outride on Saturday morning

Boerrie rolls, boerbulls & frosties at Middelpos Hotel

The vibrations on the road to Middelpos Hotel caused me to loose my left rear indicator

At the top of Ganagwa pass. The road from Middelpos managed to dislodge my rear taillight lens! Ok, maybe it was a combination of the hectic ruts & washaways, the old 600 thumper between my legs and some hard riding. :)
Anyone got another lens for me please?

Henk & Faan took us for sundowners on a koppie a few k's from Stonehenge

My "muk 'n druk" trying in vain to capture the awesomeness. I think these are "need-to-be-there" moments.

Henk explaining how little rain the Tankwa gets

Henk's 'pienk hoetjie'... coz he's gay  ;D

Structures being erected for the Africa Burn 2011 event

We're all bikers... how hard can it be to ride a BMX?
Pote shows us how it's done. Does anyone have a picture of what happened to the next guy who climbed on?  :peepwall:

Packed up and ready to go home

I had a blast this weekend. It was my first bash, and there are definitely gonna be more!!
