I know this is a seroius topic... but...

How many of you can track a Wild Dog?

Usually we follow the smell of burning rubber and brandy... But the animals... Not so much...

Manne, the PAW project seems to have died a death, or so I believe.

Thanks Mike. Thanks for the support

Above the planet on a wing and a prayer,
My grubby halo, a vapour trail in the empty air
Across the clouds I see my shadow fly
Out of the corner of my watering eye
A dream unthreatened by the morning light Could blow this soul right through the roof of the night Tongue tied and twisted just an earth bound misfit. I

Guys tentatively looking at a "get to know the real wild dog" session within the next 3 weeks. (Before Easter) - to be advised

We need to come up with a smart plan to include the out-of-town dogs, so any ideas send 'em on.

Hi Wild Dogs

Firstly from the EWT we would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU for your interest and future support. As Gareth (TInton) mentioned they are the second most endangered carnivore in Africa (after the Ethiopian Wolf) and they need all the support we can give them. Traditionally people have hated them because they assume that they are cruel hunters, however they are effective and fast with prey being devoured in two minutes.

I, representing the EWT am very keen to start the project with the "Human Wild Dogs" with an awareness drive.

How many of you can track a Wild Dog?
Do you know the latin name of the Wild Dog?.........

What we would like to to do is to meet all you Human Wild Dogs so we can introduce ourselves and you can get to know our team. It would be great to hear all your ideas on how we can get this going and spread the word. We cannot afford to lose these charasmatic carnivores and are really looking forward to joining forces with you all.

Looking forward to all your ideas
Tammy (Pictus)

Hi Tammy !

Glen here that bought the Wild Dog from you earlier in the month  :D

Hope you were not too snowed under by the rush of orders for the cute pups

This looks like a good mission !

Say where we can help !  :thumleft:

Good luck !  :ricky:

Sounds like a worthy plight. We know that there's some very clever people here, but please educate the rest of us dumb Dawgs on the subject. Thanks Tammy.

OK guys,

The Gauteng inaugural get together is going to be on Sunday the 17th of April.

The venue is En-Gedi in the Magaliesberg (GPS Co-Ords: -26 2' 2.80", +27 45' 25.05") - www.en-gedi.co.za.

We will meet there at about 10 AM. You can buy breaky there. I'm told it is very tasty.

After breakfast, Tammy and the guys from EWT will give us a presentation on for real Wild Dogs. She is going to bring some  Wild Dog soft toy puppies too. I'm gonna buy a few !!

We selected Magalies, because it is quite central and there are good riding roads around there, so end your ride there and/or continue it from there.

A big ask here guys. Lets get as many of us there as possible. All it's gonna cost you is breakfast (and the cost of a fluffly puppy if you gonna get one). Bring your friends and family too.

We need to know numbers, so please post if you're comming....

See you there !!!  :thumleft:

All the best with the project. Why do you not design a nice t - shirt and goi it in for some fund raising. T shirts are always a good opsion. Combined it with the forum and the project. :o
Gooi los!!!
