gps advice for southern africa

hi
Would like advice on what GPS unit would provide best service -- coverage== road maps -- trails in southern Africa
South africa , Namibia, botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mocambice

Garmin Zumo. You get maps for Africa too. Visit their wbsite.

+1 on Garmin - not so sure about the Zumo... lots of guys having issues with them hardware wise, as well as some software (although I suspect those might be PICNIC issues).

The three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40 and a hammer.  If it moves and it shouldn't, use the duct tape.  If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD-40.  Otherwise use the hammer.

PICNIC = Problem In Chair Not In Computer
