Had a brilliant ride, made good time and didn't fall once!
Met 2 brothers - brilliant guys from Centurion, told them about the forum. Freezing cold. Wore all my clothes at the same time and still froze!!! Here are some of the better pics (nokia n73 camera)

Went through Golden Gate too, beautifull...
I waved at every single person I saw, thinking: if they wave back I can se their hands, if not they're a potential problem. I had 2 stones thrown at me. First one - I had slowed to about 40 when passing them (they didn't wave) and slammed on brakes and the stone flew in front of me. The second was a very very near miss. It has never happened to me before, and was disconcerting to say the least...
1687km and no problems, just my KLR arse...
