I live by a very strict code.

If I walk around a shop... any shop just looking/browsing, and nobody comes over to ask me if I have been helped within 5-10mins


I WALK OUT AND NEVER RETURN!!!

On the other hand... If I get good service form a place, I will return even if they are a bit more expensive...

This morning I received this most welcoming e-mail from Brett van Bergen,owner of Biking Accesories of which I am not in the least surprised given the treatment I have recieved since I walked out of Biking Accesories.  ??? ??? ???

As per our discussion at my home on Friday evening I would like to know when my issues I encountered at Biking Accesories on Friday 08 Apil 2010 will be resolved.
 
As discussed and witnessed I am terribly disappointed and unhappy with the lack of service I received and hence am not satisfied.
 
My expectation would be to refund me the labour of R600,sundries of R60 and carb cleaner of R150 totaling an amount of R810.
 
Please advise soonest

I repeat my earlier suggestion - use the new  Consumer Protection Act!  It was especially promlugated to resolve cases like this.

Went to bike shop A with a R125 000 budget to buy a bike cash. Got ignored big time.
Went to shop B where my ass was licked.
End of story is that the wife and I spend more than R375 000 the next 5 years on shop B's products and services.

So Brett, let this be a nice free lesson to you. Customers vote with their wallets.

Psst you should have registered and stated your case, not threaten ex customers.

My suggestion for Brett would be to make a public apology and refund Tyre Kicker.

Although there are always two sides to each story and Brett probably has his own story, the majority of customers (on this thread) that visited biking accesories have complained about bad service received. So what this proof is that the probability of Tyre Kicker's story being the right one is fairly high.

I stand behind him (Tyre Kicker), so Brett be carefull to not ruin you business by your own behaviour. I was treated badly before at your shop as well, so why should we beleive or trust any statement you are about to make?
Trust that little voice in your head that says 'Wouldn't it be interesting if...'; And then do it.

He has the opportunity to defend himself here if he chooses to.

But I have the feeling that TK, you have not been the only one who has been screwed over there.

I for one will never return after the poor service I received there.
