I am glad this is being discussed in public.

He has the opportunity to defend himself here if he chooses to.

But I have the feeling that TK, you have not been the only one who has been screwed over there.

I for one will never return after the poor service I received there.

Saving others the misfortune of dealing with them, is a public service!  :thumleft:

it is more that a public service it i a right for a person to know about good and bad service...if the owner got that treatment from the Accountants that does his books, he will be pissed as well

Almost 700 Forum members have read this so far !!!!

Such bad advertising is hardly worth the R 810.00 and an apology owed to TK !!

I have supported them in the past but as a Wilddog in support of one of our own... I will Never Ever Again Thank You !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shocking Brett.............do you take us for fools. My suggestion is redeem yourself and either get those quads 100% or refund the money and make a public apology. That may give us some respect back for you.If not .........well let this run its course.
Let all Dogs make it public knowledge wherever they go. ???
Can we start a thread of places to go and places not to go maybe.

Also had my bike serviced there once - So called KTM agent - They are the sole reason why I'm very suspicious of KTM service. Got the distinct impression that they know stuff-all about the bikes. Result is that I walk circles around their shop.

The negative of this is that now I walk into any KTM dealer and have the nagging feeling that they are going to screw me over. Not necessarily the case but the seed of doubt has been planted.

So maybe should manufacturers pay more attention to what dealers do under their names. If you want to build a brand then maybe the dealers should be screened a bit more carfully.

HOw does he know and I hope he can see our comments.  Otherwise all this ranting here won't make him fix his fuckups?

Ja, but Brett can't.  If I read correctly, from Tyrekickers's first post, They admitted to not having a jobsheet.

Photos don't lie Brett.

I suggest you contact ol Barney and fix it, seeing as you don't wanna post here.  Fix it, or give us your version.  The fact that you don't deny Barney's version, makes it suspicious allready.

I went through a similar incident with a dealership a few years ago, even mailed
the CEO.......end result, he told me to sort it out with the dealer..no accountability.
The service industry in SA is sorely lacking, its as though they have too much business
and can afford the bad publicity and loss of clients...

That's the thing.

If the customer is wrong its one thing, but if the workshop really stuffed up then a simple 'sorry we'll fix it' will go a hell of a lot further than 200 excuses and will not only make the client happy, but will more than likely make him return.

02/02/12 - RIP Glen - the Arrow of Elliot and the little man with the big heart that truly was larger than life.

You have touched us and left us better for having known you - even if it was only briefly.

For grabbing the moment and living the day It's been way too early that you were taken away

Brett - Oct 2008:

Hi all  My name is Brett. From the Old School. I have been persuaded by and Old friend of mine, Blazes, to join the Forum. He has convinced me to get involved in the WD Forum. Why  He does not want to tell me. Does he know something i dont ?
Anyway. I also own Biking Accessories in Pretoria. The oldest bike Accessory shop. My passion has been biking since i can remember. Still ride actively. I am also a KTM Dealer. My plans for the future as far as DS biking is concerned is to have a complete one -stop shopping experience for all who enter through my doors.
Also in the process of uplifting the shops image as well as plans to extend the shop . Constructive critisism is welcome. And positive input welcome.

I am also applying for a vendor.

Hope to see some of you on aride.

Is he a vendor?  Or does it take a few years to qualify?
