GJ jnr came 3rd overall in the Regionals. It took him 2h30 to do 55km. GJ was riding with his sponsor as it was his 1st Enduro. The sponor dehidrated half way and he had to bring him back to the pits. It was a propper hard core enduro!  Chris Burch came 1st overall in the nationals, 2 seconds in front of Jade Gudzide!

I said it before and will say it again - Chris Birch is amazing and unbeatable by any of the current riders. He may have finished only 2 seconds ahead of Jade but thats because he will never show his true hand and does just enough to finish first. He has done this over and over again.

I would start looking for another job if I were a pro enduro rider in this country

Maybe true at the mo......but dont be too sure! I remember as a junior when Rex Staten came over from the states and lapped Alfie Cox at the PMB track, the same sentiments went out - until a season later Alfie kicked his arse, sometimes the boys just need incentive to lift their game!

Remember last year's Roof - Chris drowned his bike, lost 10 minutes getting all the water out and getting it started again and went on to reel everybody in, including "The Jade", to take the win.

Amazing, epic, awesome ....

Again makes me wonder what such a talent is doing on our local scene.
