Comrades manne, help bietjie n nuweling?

And i did the 21.1 (off-road) in 3:30.01 as a walker - what a lekker morning!
I can highly recommend the Loskop Wild Challenge for the runners looking for something different!

Apparently that 21 is nothing to laugh at. Hilly to say the least.
I did the 50km run. Had an awesome run and did a new pb for a 50km.

Next races for me:

Also really looking forward to Comrades this year. I hope it will be my best Comrades year yet.
Will be interesting to see how the route differs at the end. As far as I know it has changed after 45th Cutting.
No more Toll Gate hill but maybe another surprise hill or two?  :patch:

I'm also hoping for a pb. I've had a good year so far, so I am very hopeful.

Nice route info:

I just broke the 1000km mark from January yesterday, so being a novice, the mental preparation is as good as it can be!

Going to the physio today to stretch all the muscles (itb and calve) that gave me some problems earlier just to make sure they dont pop up during the race.

I dont worry too much about the route and all the hills, not knowing whats coming my be the best strategy for now

I believe Im ready, so lets see how it goes 22 days from now  :deal:

Goodluck, as they say, just keep moving forward and don't dilly dally anywhere. I am on 1030km with 125km to go. this weekend I hope to do two longish but flat and slow runs. 28 and 20kms then serious taper for the last three weeks.
