so i'm in the same spot where the_wes was a month or so ago

i'm looking to buy a new bike

the missus and i took the honda transalp for a spin about 2 weeks ago and i was very impressed with honda tygervalleys service and willingness to help

so went to hamman bmw today to see if i can book a test ride on either the f650gs or the dakar

went there in my dad's old beat-up honda rust bucket

was on my way to work so had on shorts, t-shirt and tekkies

did any salesman even great me?

NO

3 different salesmen/saleswoman looked me straigth in the eye and walked passed - not even a we'll be with you in a minute or nothing

after 10/15min i left

i'm sorry if this is the great bmw service that everyone is ranting about then i'm not impressed!

sure every dealership is its own - auto atlantic is apparently very good

but so far honda tygervalley and renegade kawasaki in parow takes the cake for service!
