If you are a Dog who appreciates the absurd, the ambitious, or the just plain silly... and own a bike/flat trailer and might be prepared to help some fellow Dogs out - please read on.
Next Thursday at dawn, it's been reliably learned that a great white shark, and a very seldom seen orca, are going to slither, crawl or hobble out of the sea at Three Anchor Bay and wheel their way along the back roads of the Cape under their own power to the Tankwa Karoo for the Afrika Burn festival. Jousting with spiedkops along the way, feasting on stuffed rabbits, and surprising grannies in small dorpies they will hopefully not get lost, sunburnt or too thirsty before arriving in the Tankwa to entertain small children and amuse hippies for the weekend.
We need two trailers to bring the beleaguered creatures back on Monday 2 May, because we sure as hell won't be riding them back. Can anyone help?
