I'm more like Jacko in this sense.
In fact - with the Boegoe Berg bash we rode up together and then we both went our separate ways back doing solo.
Nothing wrong - we just both felt the need to have some 'me time' with the awesome Noordkaap surrounds.

And because we are similar (wrt that part of our persona) it was painless. We kind of looked at one another and said: "Hey, let's both do our own thing going back." We were actually both looking forward to it!

I will won't ride with Eisbein again, without thinking twice.

I must say - when I'm in touring mode I am not the 'lets get there as soon as possible at all cost type', but if we start late, stop for extended periods for bub lunches and such and then end up having to chase daylight I have to actively watch my frustration level.

A pet dislike is stopping for beers....i will have a soft alcholic drink under duress only I don't mind a hipflask going baround if its cold but i get worried when the okes pull beers & stuff out at a stop...
I'd like to think that everyone around me is sober. Save it for the evenings yes?

What irritates me is people littering in nature.

I totally hate that too... you brought it there, take it with when you leave!

I did a rare solo stint on a little bit of dirt from Stoffberg to Loskop Dam... luckily it was beautifully graded road and I managed to get speeds of 100kms +.... but loved the rest of the weekend riding with various types of company... and being the only girl I had to try to fit in, even faced a few little sand monsters>>> just short pieces but enough to scare me a bit... but kept quiet and just got on with it and was VERY relieved not to have dropped my bike once in 5 days!  I'm hoping the guys didn't mind me tagging along even though I was a bit slower on the dirt, as I would love to do this more often, and there are just not enough girls around to ride with!

I spent 6 years playing shepherd and head goose on rides, so now my pet hate is having to shepherd peeps, unless it's a crowd that I choose then i don't mind playing Mother Hen, but I am happy just heading out on my own with my fave music!!!!!
