I don't want to say much except to thank Boetie and Weskus for coming to fetch me and my bike from Klawer petrol station when my accelerator got stuck on very high revs  , from falling at Atlantis sand last week . Boetie knew straight away what to do , just fiddled with the petrol cable and she was much running enough to get to his house  . Wekus rode her to Vredendal  .I went back- up with Boetie and his bike to spend a lovely evening with their lovely partners, and had a great braai and evening. Stayed at Boetie and his hospitable family's house and the next morning before I even woke up he had cleaned my petrol cable from the sand. :thumleft: He wanted to test his latest mods to his beautiful HP 2 and said we can do a little ride to Elands Bay where he would turn back . What he failed to mention was the sand  ::). I enjoyed it but for obvious reasons did not take any fotos of the sand because I would not have been able to stop except by falling and no foto is worth falling over .  The weather was perfect , overcast but not raining . Nice and cool for a ride. Thanks Boetie for a great ride .Besides the sand part , the roads were lekker gravel with beautiful sea views , and I could also put some wings on the tractor . I saw unbelievably long trains and took some fotos and mainly I perved at Boetie ‘s bike because I find the HP 2 in general and Boetie’s one in particular utterly droolworthy.  :drif: :drif: :drif: So it was a lovely ride and a lovely day, a perfect end to my Skaapkop ride . I was smiling all the time .Thanks again Boetie and Weskus.  :thumleft: Ps Weskus next time don’t think you can do power slides with my bike and I won’t recognize her tracks . :pot:

Weirdest thing I stopped here to admire the bridge,  and then suddenly next minute a train comes past under the bridge, another long train

I don’t always stop for tortoises but this one was on a steep curve and on the wrong end of the road . The last time I was with Rov Rat I tried to rescue a tortoise that must have weighed 50 kilos and could hardly lift it . But after I did that he practically ran across the road on his coffe mug size feet. This one at least was tiny . :3some:
