like all of you i have insurance on my boney, but not on any of my gear. I just bought the new Shoei Hornet helmet (from england, paid 3800 ronts compared to 8500 ronts in Cape Town), so this got me a thinking. if i have an accident i will probably have to throw away mt helmet and leatt brace and get new ones. this could easily set me back approx 10k to 12k, if i buy it all locally.
i insure my surfboards with dial direct and they paid out with in 24hr after i sent in a claim for my board, and when i added a new board, and a few other things my premiums only went up by 10 or 20 ronts or so.
do any of you insure your bike gear?
