What was that ? Say it again  :pot:

How do you get to that conclusion ? ???

Look at the pic and open the link I posted   ::)

Oh, I get it.

You were saying it has no top teeth at all and since it has molars you lose. I thought the argument was over sheep having or not having top front teeth, so I lose too.

Ons leef by mekaar verby Glen. It"s like we're married.

You had it right the first time ! My quoting skill were lacking today.

It was supposed to be as below.

So Glen Ink does that mean you lost your bet ?  :mwink:

If the sheep has top teeth I lose . . . . I`ll let you be the judge !

Sorry but you lose  :ricky: You owe me a Malimba and Metal Jockey a drink  >:D

How do you get to that conclusion ? ???

Ok, I want to propose that even if we only had scenes like these ones to view during the weekend, the Bash was a worthwhile venture.

Hi to all that attended.
Thanks Watty for selecting this venue - think everybody enjoyed it as well as the ride there.
Great to have seen some "old" faces (LGF, TR MacS, DCop, Left-Less, Horsepower - to only mention a few).
Just as good to have met many new friends(Too embarrassed to start mentioning names as I can not remember them all).
It was a special moment to have met a dynamic person like Honey Badger and Bessie after having follwed their RR's religiously each evening.
Hope to see you all at other Bashes.

Will mostly attempt to let the pictures do the talking.
Providing the tent and burgers have been a pleasure. The idea of the burgers was to lighten the load on the further travellers. Who feels like preparing a meal after + 600 km in one day? The overwhelming response (69 burgers) tells me there is a need for a prepared meal arriving at the venue. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I ran a bit late.
Will post 2 video clips as soon as I have figured out how to edit and post it.
Great weekend ! ! :thumleft:

The dreaded slab ! ! !
 Then the venue.

Proof that BM's can go on a trip without BM's roadside assistance, especially if the owner is a dog!

Dogs discussing the meal because not all of them are interested in bikes. Or perhaps females - THE ONE had a harem of 4 to entertain him!

A midday dash to the EC Bash was way too short.  With a longer, and tougher, ride than expected, we arrived with little daylight hours left so sadly only had about 45mins to say hi to all at the bash.  At least I managed to meet GlenInk!!
Was really a nice ride.... although being on the back of Crab's 1200 was a bit hairy at times!!!!
Well done Crab,,,, great riding!!!!
Wish I'd had my camera with me .. could've got some really great pics.
Glad to see everyone had a good time!

Big hello to you Bigdom. Hope you heal soon. Went to St Georges on arrival in PE only to hear you were at home. Some photos of your bike during the recovery. Seems to me that Glenink faked a friendship with you- it was the HP2 exhaust that was the main attraction!  :ricky: Oops! :pot:
Will pm you next time I ride your valley to set up a meeting.

Watty and his crew !
Many thanks for an awesome bash.
Sign posted from Kareedouw , some 35 km from the bash.

To the guys in the WC Team , thanks for all coming along and making it an awesome ride.
Although we slit our team in two , some doing the route all the way through the Baviaans and some taking the short cut on a private road,
The Baviaans team had a hard day ,much longer and having to ride the final leg to the camp in the dark and not on a very good road, glad u all made it safely.

The short cut was only 25 km , but took 4 hrs on the big 990`s, well done guys,

I only managed the first 10 km , but I thought I was loozing it , my bike just couldnt get good traction at km 7 , and so I hit a rock and had  fall.
When the Ldrover arrived , Wayne noted my rear tyre was flat, Fark !They loaded my bike and had one hell of a rough route to tow my bike over.
How the bikes made it through without incident , gees I dont know
Even the riders waited at the top of this one really bad hill,to see how Leftless would make it up wth the Landrover , towing a Trailer , wth my XT660R loaded.

The road to the venue covered all the aspects you could think of:
1. The pebbles & holes uphill that claimed many a customer.
2. Some twisties not to be taken lightly.
3. Serious down hills.
4. Sand and mud ( Why all the tracks through the ploughed land?)

Somebody lost this on the dirt road about 3km from the campsite.
Blue rubbery mat was found about 1 km from the chain link and the wet wipes. Link is for a 520 chain.
Check your kit - might need spares in a breakdown that you don't have anymore.

Some feed-back regarding Big Dom

I was in contact with Big Dom and all is positive. After coming off approximately 16h20 on the Friday afternoon, he eventually went into surgery on Saturday afternoon at  3pm for 2 + hours ... very happy with his orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Theuns Botha, who was able to pinned it all together again ... his wrist was pretty well shattered and out of alignment!  Dom is now back home in G'Town.  His bike is also safely back, albeit with a few more scratches and half a screen!  His only moan is that he missed another brilliant bash.

Speedy recovery and good luck with the healing processes.  :thumleft:

Thanks for that update Watty. Kobus and his mate Rodney were true WD manly men and will get my vote on Wednesday for Mayor  >:D Kobus your own courage is a lesson - respect. Also thanks to the three EC WD boets an swaars who stopped to check I was ok and not going into shock with the prospect of missing the bash ... and also ensured I was medicinally hydrated  ;D  Shot Leftless, Edgy and others who recovered GSpot and returned her safely to me not too worse for wear. My own pilot error will see me 'pinned down' for a least six weeks. Remember there is no ATGATT for wrists  ??? the rest did its job perectly.

Below is a picture of the hard silver bracelet (angel ATGATT) I was wearing that took the lions share of the impact on one particularly sharp rock  ... without which I would have had lots more than three fractures! I was obviously not flying faster than my Guardian Angel.  :angel11:
