I have a mate of mine who is a bit technically challenged that has a BMW F650GS Dakar 04. The waterpump, thermostat packed up on the bike which I then replaced for him aswell as a new radiator and thermostat (found a tiny leak on the radiator).
It now has a new problem where it blowns out water out of the reservoir tank whenever he parks it up after he went for a ride. I am thinking that he might have blown the head gasket when his cooling system went south and the bike overheated but just want to confirm my fears before he tears his bike apart to replace something that might not need to be done.
Somebody suggested to replace the radiator cap first before doing any other work.
