Me, Mrs Crispy and the towers

As some of you know Mrs Crispy is very new to biking and has not really gone anywhere far or adventurous yet, so we have decided to start with a few short rides with only a little bit of offroad stuff until we are both comfortable with the bike. This morning we woke up to a greyish sky and decided to take a ride to the towers near Kareedouw. To make it more fun we decided to take along a braai and a couple of braaipacks in the topbox. After a quick stop at the Gamtoos ferry inn, which by the way is being refurbished and is going to be a breakfast run venue of note when complete, we proceeded past Humansdorp and had an amazing braai with the most amazing views. Distance covered for the day was 266km, the bike performed flawlessly and Mrs Crispy is almost converted!!
