Hit one of these mid life little hassles. My nearly 30 year old life long dream XT 600 Tenere, has got the hand out again, piston, rings, resleeve as the current one is 1mm o/size already. This with all parafanalia that goes with it - R6000. Tenere costing about 26 big ones all in all including this. We will now have a new piston,rings gaskets seals ground valves etc but effectively a handfull of other problems, worn carbs and a hand full of other things. Please remind/inspire me again why i should do this (this fantastic,beautifull old piece machinery) and when it battles to start and the sweat is running i can justify it. WTF, do a half job sell it to someone else, and buy something more modern
