We are blessed with the most amazing variety of flowers - Nowhere in the world can you see such variety within such short distances.

Protea - Surely one of the most spectacular flowers and so diverse in appearance it is just unbelievable.

Aloe Flower - So many different aloes it is amazing.

Why do people insist on planting all sorts of exotic alien plants when we sit on the most beautiful and plentiful plants in the world right at our back-doors.

Plant indigenous and see the beauty. Also much easier to maintain as these plants have evolved to strive and survive our harsh climatic conditions. 
Somehow people only think of trees when they look at indigenous plants.
