Hi there guys, so I am moving up to Johannesburg and need to take my bony with me. It is all very short notice and I need to get it to JHB by Tuesday.
Option 1- Ride bike from Cape Town to JHB in 1 day, with frequent stops, full kit and spares with luggage, (most cost effective and time effective, but a more hazardous journey on a 650)
Option 2- Get myself onto a train from CT to JHB (safest route travel wise I assume), but have not been able to find any decent info on pricing/timetables etc.
Option 3- Get my bike trailered up to JHB and fly up (not cost effective and lack of time to organize!)
Option 4- A wilddog with a good heart and trailer space is going from CT to JHB and wouldn't mind shuffling my bony up there (willing to contribute of course!) :
