Guys, I have posted this link related to the Dakar - 1 Pedestrian - 0 posting elsewhere.
A friend of mine in SA always since he had his F650 kept one of these wired into his bikes lighting system.
Those who play on AdvRider will know him as BigDom, anyway in an effort to be more visible an less liable to be missed on the road, Dominic fits all his bikes with one of these described and linked below, not sure who will be interested, but hey, the choice is always our.

It is called a headlight modulator and is sold by a company Kisantech
that makes other
trick electronic safety items like pulsating braklights etc:

I am probably going to be selling mine off my 1150 as she is for sale
as I have a new
1200ADV dealer booked #1 for May delivery
(think I will need a
different model for
the 1200 but will definitely buy another as it makes one far more
conspicuos)
