How much bike experience is adequate before a bike rookie is grown up?
Including my recent Namibia trip I have 18.000 bike km to my credit. 50% of that mileage was off the tarmac. In the meanwhile I am very confident to drive on any gravel road with decent speed, I am OK in sand but I suck badly in mud. If it comes to hardcore off road sections I am lost with my piggy.
What kind of mileage did you guys cover before you called yourself an experienced DS rider?
