DR 600 Kickstart rod broken

Where do one start shopping or searching for that. It broke right off next to the engine!!!!

First check if the agents can still get you one.

If it's discontinued look for second hand spares places in the UK and Germany. The DR600 was quite popular.

The agents can get one, but only in 4 weeks time. our next trip is in three weeks!

The next step is making one! It may just work!

It's not my bike, but, my riding buddy Christo's bike. I have a Kawasaki KLE.

The thing is, its his bike trailer, and his dads farm we stay over! No Christo/ No Suzuki - no trip!

Good to know the agents can still get the parts. Bodes well for my DR650 overhaul.

Problem is (as far as I remember) that the return spring sits "inside" the gearbox preventing you from pulling the shaft out without splitting the crankcase means full disassembly. Enjoy :-\
