Amazing trip guys - really inspirational!

I'd love to know how Nick fell to have torn ligaments and broken bones inside a MX boot... :?:  :?:  :?:
He was riding a 200kg motorbike :D Great tracks out that way, did some of those routes on the wwr trip.

Wylsdale Contact details

A few peeps have asked for the Contact Details for Wylsdale Camp:

It's owned and managed by David & Fiona Millin:
millin@realnet.co.sz

The coords: S25 48 45.0 E31 17 16.0

I have a saved MapSource Track which I can send to anyone interested.

I really recommend this as a place to stay. Not only 'cos it's an amazing place, but also 'cos getting there is such an adventure!
It's a friggen motorcycle, it's not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The windnoise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you shit your pants every now and then. Suck it up. -- Scary Gary MC

The following little snippet was hand delivered to my door by Nick's wife:
(I think)... (Actually it was lying on the kitchen table when I got home just now)

"Nick AKA "Slick Scorp" - the techo wizz kid who cannot send an SMS has asked me to post his 5 cents worth on the past weekend

CHOICE OF TRACTION

I rode the trip on an abused 6000km old Perelli Scorpion

Fine asphalt twisties
I reakon I had the most fun compared to those with the knobblies

Gravel roads
Still amazing fun, but look well ahead and anticipate especially on downhill bends otherwise you end up with your rectum in your throat

Grassy slopes & off-camber decents & wet rocks
Zippo traction. This is only for the sh.... stupid or terminal dudes. A 950 under these conditions is like Joan Collins with PMS, hence my buggered foot

Conclusion
While still wobbelling around .... any regrets ?? ...... Nah ....  Sorry for you

But maybe with Knobblies next time"
