Hello guys

Wednesday night with a friend in motion, we made a walk of 140 for Castellammare del Golfo to attend an extraordinary spectacle that left me speechless!
The Vintage Racing "Our Principalissima Patron" in Castellammare del Golfo (TP), in honor of the patron saint Mary. the department. Under a little story ... the pictures do not do the full event. Take a look at some videos just to see what really was. Enjoy

Historical Re-enactment "Our Principalissima Patron" in Castellammare del Golfo (TP), in honor of the patron saint Mary. the department. The event which seeks the revocation happens IL13 July 1718, when Castellammare finds himself at the center of the facts of war, had broken out, in fact, the war between King Philip V of Spain, and Amedeo of Savoy for the possession of Sicily. A cargo ship, Spanish, followed by five British ships, is to take refuge in the castle, where she found those who commit themselves to doing everything take its defenses to repel the enemy ships, and these, irritated by the damage suffered, respond to the attack by firing the their artillery. At the sight of the impending danger, the people, stunned and trembling, rushed to the feet of his patron, a powerful cry out for help. All fled, abandoning their homes and the city, and as they disperse into the countryside looking for escape, despite the English artillery, none reported any damage. But suddenly, to the amazement of everyone, from the mountain of stairs is the white-clad Virgin Mary followed by a host of angels, also in white robe, coming down towards the Marina. This frightens the British vision of leaving our sea headed for other ports.
