The DRZ pipe is already in race form, very little baffle. Why buy another one which will just look better but give very little improvement in performance. Just my 2c.

FMF will be much cheaper as far as I know, and has plenty MX street cred  :thumleft:

Better performance > loud pipes
loud pipes = pain in the rear

If it is the E model then you already have a proper pipe. Remove the spark arrester if you have to.
Some people complain that the stock E exhaust is too loud and I have to admit it is quite a bit louder than your average stock pipe.

I am of opinion that you have to get a SSW MRD pipe if you want to warrant the cash outlay. On the SM and S models it is a different story though.

The market is a funny thing: you will get whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I have a stock pipe in my garage, it's dented and gutted and used, and I'm going to give it to 1wayray if he wants, for like R300 or something.

But yours is brand new. And suzuki sell them for a k*k load. If you found someone who REALLY wanted a full system you could charge them like R3000 or R4000. But realistically, people don't want to buy stock exhaust pipes. So if you sold the full system for R1000 you would have done well.

It's just that there won't be any buyers. It's an expensive part, but there is no demand for it.

Here's a dude on gumtree asking R500 for a full system. I think he's still trying to sell it:

Bargain on not getting anything for it. Chances are slim that there would be someone out there wanting one or willing to pay any decent amount of money for one. Keep it in the garage for when you sell the bike.

The man speaks truth. Keep it. Sell off the aftermarket pipe separately if you ever sell the bike.

agreed - wrap it up and put it aside, you'll get more for your aftermarket pipe one day when you sell your bike than you will for the stock unit now

or just keep it for a while and use the money for some other mods. dyno tuning and working on the jetting would be a great start if you're after performance  :thumleft:
