My innige megevoel aan die familie. >:(

Watty...R.I.P

Oh no , what a sad day.

He will be sorely missed on the forum for his meticulously organised EC Bashes , his witty posts , but also for his gentle , kind way .  He told me in April at the EC Bash that it would be the last time we saw him ,but it still comes as a big shock.

And even as sick as he was at the EC Bash , he could not walk more than a few meters without sitting down , yet he went on a 5 hour excursion on the Friday evening till midnight to drive a wounded biker to the hospital . The ride out of the valley was a treacherous hour -long drive,  and then the first two hospitals were closed .  That is when I realised how very special he was , always happy to put others' needs before his own.

Rest in peace Watty , gentle soul.
Its impossible, said pride. Its risky, said experience.

Its pointless, said reason. Give it a try, whispered the heart.

I did not know Watty, but what I saw on the forum, is that he was a person that influenced many.

That is how he will be remembered

My condolences to all that knew and were close to him.

Rus sag. :(

Truly a very sad day, we will miss him. He was one of the few true gentleman I met in my life.

He was part of Wilddogs since the first bash in Baviaans.
