Hello All,  long time out of this forum, Just to let you know that mi TE610 has already 51,000 Km with the original timing chain,  I did not check the clicks,  maybe  when the bike gets the first 100,000 Km.

The bike take me to Alaska from Mexico and back home without isues, it was around 19,000 Km.

Few pictures,  the rest os 768 pictures are here.  I went to Wrangell St. Elias National Park,  no motorcycles there.

Awesome.

I don't believe that anyone doubts this bike's ability to DS.

 After 2mnths and 1500k's of ownership (total odo=6200k's), riding just about every possible riding surface/condition with various other DS bikes in company, I can only repeat what has already been said: 'The 610 is a very special DS bike!!'

True.

Such a shame that it has suffered the same fate as the XR650R.
 :-\

Sort of.. the 650R was not replaced by anything, whereas the 610 was.
But I will not go there.  ::)

The spirit of the 610 and pretty much 85% of the 610 lives on in the 630.
At least the 610 had and still has an evolutionary path unlike the XR, so i guess all is no lost in the world of DS

+100
My opinion (based purely on what I've red on the 630), is that it's a more civilized and grown-up 610. Maybe the purists were expecting too much and something even wilder!

I'm really starting to worry about you Husky crowd.

mmmm took my XR 600 to the test station for roadworthy test but man i think if you work there
you should be prepared for any thing that comes your way
so sitting waiting for my thumpers turn I so happen to have a good view where it was standing
a middle age guy approach the bike with clip board and pen walking around it a few times writing something , looking for a key which was absent coming over to me asking for it, which i politely inform him the keyless starting procedure i offer to assist him, he assure me he was quite capable of doing all by himself, so i settle down watching the spectacle, first the guy feet almost didn't make it touching the floor after he mount my bike, but he seem to managed after almost flooring with it
now to start the (bastard) my gentle brute would not give the man a inch on the kick start after how many attempts this guy was close to collaps in sweat he called for me i showed him how its done, one kick and she was rumbling through the test station with a sweet tone, all he said what "the hell is this i thought it is a 400 or someting " well guys the bike  pass the test and I can say to start a 600 is not for every one fancy
:thumleft: :thumleft:
starting my ex 600 always had that sense of accomplishment to it

..which the gays out there fail to understand.

Having your own Husqvarna section on this site is not enough, you should have your own room  :ky: :love1:
