Okay, here is my ride.

2006 Kawasaki Green- I call it "the Beast"
It has been buried almost to the seat and kept on truckin'. The KLR650 has done just about everything I have asked it to do thus far:) It has taking me through TDA I-II and III. TDT and all around Tennesee and North Carolina and some parts of Georgia. Mulitple National forest rides are some of my favorites. The KLR will do fire roads and hard packed road with ease, and will also take you through some nasty stuff with some effort. This is what makes this motorcycle so much fun.

So from that statement the bike has:

carb mod
22 cent smile maker
Doo is done. thanks eagle Mike
White brothers e2 pipe
Utah Skid Plate
Moose claw pegs
IMS shifter
Dunlop 606's front and rear
Scotts grips
bigger rear luggage platform
14t sun sprocket
Tank mod- thanks Hurricane
rear shock mud guard
Lowrance Iway GPS
hard wired adapter for GPS
Fuse Mod

Looking to do gaifer lines and progressive front springs in the very near future.

I am sure I missed some, but thats about all. As I said, its just an all around great bike.

Oppad Puros toe in Nam, most horrible corrugated road I have ever been on...EVER!

The scenery and vast open spaces was breathtaking though (Photo courtesy of Lootch)

And one of my favourites taken on our way to Spitzkoppe, the heatwaves was just a small indication of what was ahead of us

Soft meets hard, Damaraland. Nam uber alles!

Don't you also just want to get on there and ride the wit warm waks out of it?

For me, this pic totally encapsulates what I love about trail riding!

There is nothing you can do about the past and you can't predict the future...all you have is the now...live it to the fullest.
