Does anyone have a CDI for a 640 (not mine), The is a 640 Duke in a work shop that needs one.

I have brand new stator coils for a 640.

Are they 100% sure it is the CDI , the pickup coils are known to give trouble from time to time .

They swoped out the CDI off my bike and it ran. Thanks Dux.

They swoped out the CDI off my bike and it ran. Thanks Dux.

I would say that is pretty conclusive proof , take the CDI to Krogs , quite often it is a transistor on the output circuit that pops , nothing ventured nothing gained .

It is Krogs, we are neigbours, so they borrowed my bike to check. The new one is aboutR3500 and to get to the parts it will be hours of labour removing the resin covering
