Thanks to a wild dog - tweets
« on: August 20, 2011, 07:01:01 am »
The wife and I are busy taking part in the magnum rally, which is a vintage a classic bike rally taking part in mpumalanga.

On Thursday morning we ran out of fuel about 20km from our petrol stop (fuel tank leak).
A white bailie stopped two assist and it was a wild dog. He recognized my dayglo wd bib immediately and in no time off he went to fetch a container. Came back and filtered some petrol from his carb and promptly left.

We lost about 35 minutes in the rally ( this is a time trial so every second counts!)

Tweets, thanks for stopping and helping us out, it is really appreciated. I owe you a beer or two :thumleft:

I reckon Tweets will do anything to help a fellow dog... he is the go-to-guy to get bits from PE to CT or to Gauteng.  Lends out his trailer to okes in need and ask very little from anyone...  Don... Your'e a man amongst men !!

Yep , dankie.
