This is my first RR in english, so please bear with me!
Sunday afternoon I decided to visit my friend Mahango in Amersfoort. The wind was blowing like hell near Aliwal north so I decided to sleepover at Rouxville. The following day I departed early and took the road along the Letsotho border, the mountains were covered in snow. At Ficksburg it started to snow but I had to push on.I stopped at Bethelem and had a nice cup of coffee that didnt help so I bought a bottle of OB,s and off I went.
Outside Bethelem it started to snow heavely, some places the snow was at least half a metre deep .It was difficult to stop, I had to keep in the tracks of other cars and also look out for potholes- what an adventure!
I can say that I arrived safely at Mahango's house after 300km of snow and bitter cold.
