Hi All,
I need some feedback as to the cost of a typical 20,000KM service on a 1200GS.
I recently had mine serviced at a BMW dealer, but when I compared it to a few riding buddies with similar bikes, their service was much less expensive.
My GS1200 is a 2010, new spec bike. My service cost R 2900.00. It did not include brake pads, but did include for new spark plugs. Overall it seems like a normal service, nothing stands out as abnormal.
R 1300.00 was for labour, R 1100.00 for parts, balance was miscellaneous Lifestyle items and lubricants. (all prices are ex VAT)
Is the price I paid at least in the ball park of other riders, or should I be concerned?
