MotoGP, I love it. Been following it since 83 apart from a short-lived boycott when they switched from two to four-stroke in 2001. I shook Eddie Lawson's hand, smoked Marlboro and Gauloises, and am on my way to buy a Fiat. did I mention I am a Yammie fan?

Come now OP. You can't seriously tell me you don't want to  :puke_l: when you see that Fiat branding on the Yamaha's. Shows you the lenghts Burgess and co will go to to afford the best riders to make up for their kak bikes. I mean look what Colin Edwards is achieving on supposedly the same bike as The Doc. The Yammies that Rainey and the boys were riding were special - but todays.................!

Rather support Randy de Puniet if you really HAVE to support a kak team.   ;D

Those Yams are not bad at all, but have  different characteristics to the Ducatis and Hondas. The Rossi/Burgess twosome is an excellent developer combo. I'm afraid Edwards is way past his prime and can not be used as a yardstick. Like the Stormers, the Texas Tornado has become nothing but a light breeze. For one, he is not serious about his fitness levels. Taking his age into account (ancient for motogp) this partly explains the huge differences between his practice and race times.

I would like to root for Du Puniet and the Kawa's but they've really been shitty. Suzuki is the coolest underdog team.

I suppose we better stop this now, this is a DS site after all :D :D

I agree - its better than rugby. You have to take your hat off to Rossi. I really think that bike is not much better than the Suzuki's and maybe the Kawas. He's still competitive - sort off.

Edward's days are over, but if you look at how many WSB riders try MotoGP and then get their arses kicked its no surprise. The only guy it seems who knows to adapt is Troy Bayliss.
Me, Im a Honda fan since Gardiner days, pity Pedrosa got into Nicky's head so much.

I have always been a Nakano fan. I love those eyes on the front of his helmet. So I was glad when joined Kawa, gave me a reason to support them. But, sadly, they're only good for 10th place at best....
Don't look back, that's not where you're going.
