HI All

I am planning to buy a 2011 660z 2nd hand with 22000k's on the clock. The bike is in excellent condition (only about 500k's on dirt, rest is commuting)

Extras include: Crash bars, Flying brick soft luggage U-shape 65L, Spots, and rear luggage plate.

What would be the going rate for a bike like this?

I would say about R65 000...... but that is just me  :P

Fair price upwards..... towards  R70 000

Does anybody know what the average price is for a standard service of a 2011 yamaha xt660z in the Cape Town area?

Also which dealership(s) is known to give the best client and bike service?
Thank you please

What are the kilo's on your bike.

I only know of Helderberg Yamaha. Have never heard of any complaints.

Does not matter. You could have posted in the Yamaha board and maybe get more views http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?board=107.0

Do you know if the steering head bearings and cush-rubbers have been replaced yet. Usually goes at around 15 000km's.

Have the steering head bearings cleaned and ghries-ed at every service in any case. Ekstra 1 1/2 hours labour but worth it.

For six years not one post on this thread... These Yamaha 660s must be quite reliable?

How does this look for a 11 year old thumper? (I also posted the same photo on my introduction thread)
Life is short...
