Bikes 1 Cars 0

Good reason to ride bike, even if it's just to commute, honest tree huggers would love this.

Sous

here have been many tests and reports made on motorcycle pollution. In most cases, the outfit that produced the report had internal agendas.

For example, the Paris City Hall (Mairie) {link}, who want to get rid of all vehicles, have published tests that state that motorcycles pollute 2-3 more than cars.

Anyone with half a brain, knows that these tests are manipulated. The same can be said about tests run by motorcycle magazines.

Ademe (the French Environment Agency) has concluded a real test, with no bias. Not only did they compare apples with apples, but looked at the usage of cars and motorcycles in REAL LIFE circumstances

Nice Michnus

Now search for those other environmental impact studies. The damage DS Bike vs. Quad. vs SUV/4x4.

Would be good to get a data base together of official studies. As it is, we are starting to experience (past 10 years), how certain areas (proclaimed reserves mostly) riding opportunities are getting less and less for DS bikes, while the SUV/4x4 seemed to be less affected.

The three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40 and a hammer.  If it moves and it shouldn't, use the duct tape.  If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD-40.  Otherwise use the hammer.

these type surveys are really a load of hog wash from my point of view.  :P
But then again if we took a survey to see if my point of view counted, I don't think that I would have a chance!! ;D ;D

Well Bozo, that's why they did this report is to show that many surveys are manipulated
