Got my fix today
De-Wildt, surely the best off-road venue in Gauteng. It's got it all / Ride there 4 times per month and you can toss the Virgin Active membership
Some pics of our ride today (As this is not directly DS related - MODS, move if you need to)
Start of 3 Fences (and hell)
Towards the end of 3 Fences riverbed (stopped to take the photo) - about 4 to 5km long - this is a workout of note
Tolwane river area
It's really dry this winter. Normally this area is very green
Plathond's boet well and truely stuck. That water is really cold. When no-one wanted to venture into it to help him - he helped himself out
Dophond from this forum (He left his Transalp at home - good move)
AdventureMX , also from this forum (he managed to get his SUZUKI kingquad even more bogged down) - damn that water was cold, damn SUZUKI > > >
oohhhh, ..... and the snow ;D ;D ;D
Well not quite - A can of tyre weld went faulty and Dophond got the short end of the stick
I'll dig up some more De-Wildt pics - those that have not had the opportunity to visit can see the pics, be back shortly .....
