Hi guys.

Today's stage was broken into 2

This morning I had an awesome ride. Followed by one of the shittest I have ever had! I had to climb 5  10 to 20 storey high dunes.

Thanks for the support, tomorrow's going to be a long one!

rooting for you bro!!!!

You really picked up some speed towards the end of the dunes, after a slow entry, it seems. WELL DONE!!!  :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

So our intrepid dune climber spent 7h33 playing in the sand today. Kenesis the inKredible.
49th today, and now 41st overall.
Having a look further down the list, there are two riders with 109 hour penalties! What do you have to do to deserve that?

Go Kenesis !

So if I understand this correctly, our interpid dune climber has finished the day's stage and is now commuting to the bivouac.

Greetings from your dune climber! :ricky:

Had an awesome day today! Lots of carnage out there today! Bikes strewn across the desert!

Started off slow  and managed to jump into a hole(a hole that forms behind the back of a dune due to wind blowing)  not even one km from the start, a big off but no damage! I got a big thanks from Helder Rodrigues when I pointed him around it!

We climbed som seriaaas big dunes again today, hitting the bottom at well over 100km/h to get to the top, sometimes having to hit anchors to stop jumping out the top!

Had one crash from being clever and took a short cut to try and over take another competitor, this was while he rode around an area of plants next to a road, is went as a crow flies and was surprised to find a hole about 2 meters in diameter and 1 meter deep, managed to wheelie the bike and get the front wheel over the hole but the frame hit the edge of the hole throwing me over the bars.

Luckily no damage apart from some lost time!

The stage ended with a very tight and technical 30km which felt like it would never end!

Last day tomorrow! I wish I could have another 5 days as this is really starting to be fun!

Chat to you all later!

See you all at the end!

Flipping awesome Alan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you are getting confident - Hope those two near misses will remind you to take it easy. The last day is normally easier, but remember what happened to Shaun!

Bring it home, brother youve earned your stripes with flying colours!!!!! :thumleft:
