Same as the previous one, but this time the other way round. And again, I'm not trolling.

I don't normally buy these, but I wanted to see what they say about the BMW X-challange. So I bought this mag called Dirt & Quad. If you skip all the quad pieces it seems pretty decent. What I did see in the mag that looked interesting is Bronx bike boots. Anybody seen these up close yet? Don't want to hi jack, so if you want to comment on the bronx boots please do so in the gear section.  :P

The editor of Dirt & Quad, Glen Foley, was with me at the press launch of this X Challenge, cool guy, and he CAN RIDE.... :)

If you want to buy, sell or get info on suppliers, bling etc, Bike SA is tops.

Remeber, not everyone has internet access during the day and/or are members of forums like this where they can get advise/info.

The Bikers Yellow Pages.

Maybe that's why it still tops the selling lists?

While Bike SA is getting nailed, it's still the most profitable mag in South Africa.

The Question was : "What's the worst bike magazine?" not "Which is making the most money?"

Auto Finder properly is the best selling motor vehicle magazine, yet it has no valuable info other than sales.  The opinions given re SA Bike is based on the actual content value regarding motorcycling in general!!!

IMHO

Still, they could improve on quality.

There is some interesting responses from Simon in this regard. Comes down to "The mag sells. Why change?"

Simon has kept his magazine running for the past 40 years or so
he must be doing something right

can't argue with that

but still, I'm not fond of BarkEssay
