The accelerator module retain cruising settings and only enriches the mixture under acceleration when power is needed. It will improve fuel consumption if you don't use the extra power all the time (which doesn't seem likely, given your last remark  >:D)
It does convert your bike from an infrequently stalling one, to a bike with power when you need it. That can be the difference between falling over and staying upright, between wondering when the machine is going to die on you and trusting the motor for delivering power - worth the while in my opinion.
I suppose this is worth giving a shot.
Does it affect warranty?
It does not alter your bike permanently and does not affect the warranty. It just rectifies EU regulations fuel starvation.
It is a plug and play system that can be removed at any time. How it works is that the the wire going to the air box temperature sensor gets unplugged, and the Accelerator Module gets plugged in inline - overriding the standard temperature sensor to feed new values to the computer, thus enriching the air/fuel ratio on acceleration only. I have supplied accelerator modules to BMW staff for their motorcycles, and many people send their bikes in for service with the units installed.

I supply the Schlowy Customs units for BMW, Yamaha and KTM in Cape Town.
BoosterPlug, LED Spots, Tool Tubes, RustStop, Kappa Screens, Top boxes, Tank Bags, ATG Gear - whatever works for me.

BMW, KTM, Yamaha, but not for the Husky as far as I know. Do you have issues with a sensitive throttle and underfuelling?

All fuel injected big bore thumpers have issues with fueling. JD Tuners make a module for the Husky that I know.
