Things I've started doing since getting my Dakar

1. looking forward to leaving for work in the morning
2. looking forward to going home (i was doing that already)
3. daydreaming about the upcoming weekend's riding
4. getting depro if i spend a weekend, or even a day, without riding
5. falling off
6. making friends
7. ducking off onto strange bits of dirt and roadside trails while cruising around the suburbs
8. smiling every time i walk past my bike, thinking of the fun we've just had
9. grinning like a fool every time i ride somewhere
10. getting traffic fines

seeing all the little scratches and cracks in the plastics (friday afternoon on the way home a  n unexpected treestump in the road made me directionally challenged which resulted in me doing the horizontal dirt shuffle..) as fond memories instead of what it's gonna cost to get it fixed..

I don't see the merit in riding a dakar with not a scratch or mark on it..

BTW.. the impact side (RH) has no marks on it other that a slightly out-of place indicator. The LH side faux tank panel has a nice crack it it as my knee connected it as i was abandoning the bike.

Too mutch front brake and speed   :-[ :-[

you hit that one right on the head. Not much else to add .Grinning like a fool sums it up perfectly!!

grootseun - its fun adding character to ur bike - treasure those moments (unless it become very expensive moments  :o ).
I love my bike..................

It just all Freaks me out, never had so much fun with my clothes on, and f@#$%t, bin doin it all my life!!
