Be proud show your dirty bike
« on: October 24, 2011, 09:45:50 am »
How full of dirt does your ride get after a weekend? Be proud and post a picture, Obviously not for the city riders who polishes their machines after a ride on the tar.

Warning: The following may contain scenes of dirt, dust & mud parental guidance is advised

The colour of my bike is black, so it sure shows off the dirt. I think it's a bloody nuisance nothing to be proud about. always wash my bike first chance I get
My biggest worry in life, is that if I die before my Wife, she will sell my biking gear based on the prices that I told her I had paid for them.

After my recent shake down trip to Zeerust. 280 km, 20 km/l. Enjoyable.

 ;D
Jaa, this is a strange siuation. I've only had DS bikes, and they've seen there fair share of mud and kak, but I can't just "leave" the bike, dunno if it's obsessive, but when the bike's dirty, I have to clean it.  :deal: Although I commute every day, I think it's got to do with the fact that you can spot an issue quicker if the bike is clean, than if it's caked in mud. (An issue being a problem, or a leak, or, an issue.  )

Here after a winter ride in the Overberg with the Helderberg Yamaha Crew.

And normally.

I just prefer keeping it as clean as I can, until it gets dirty again...
